1793, French Revolution. For three years now, Charette, a young man retired from the Royal Navy, has been back home. Former P.O.W. Jack Calgrove moves Heaven and Earth to be reunited with his children following the Civil War. Upset, Cervantes goes to fight in the famed sea battle of Lepanto and comes back a hero. Later he is captured by Barbary pirates and ransomed by Trinitarian friars.
