Mister Rogers arrives with a fife which he has borrowed from Joe Negri. Expressing how difficult it is to play the fife, Mister Rogers takes viewers to the kitchen where he has a row of bottles set up. Using these bottles, filled with various amounts of water, Mister Rogers is able to play Tree Tree Tree. Joe Negri stops by to pick up his fife and invites Mister Roges to join him on a visit to Betty Aberlin's Little Theater. Mister Rogers arrives with a large display board showing pictures of several of his Neighborhood friends. After talking briefly about friendship, he shows the picture in the center which is of Buzz Wagner, a shoe salesman. Paying a visit to Mr. Wagner's shoe store, Mister Rogers wants to buy a new pair of shoes. After Mister Rogers spends a few minutes looking at all of the different kinds of shoes on display, Mr. Wagner approaches him to offer his assistance. Sizing up Mister Rogers' feet, Mr. Wagner is not able to find the proper size in the style of shoe Mister Rogers wants.
