Dennis maakt in 3 op reis een indrukwekkende reis door India. Hij bereikt de provincie Meghalaya in het noordoosten. De bevolking hier is erg bedreven in het bouwen van 'levende' bruggen over de talrijke rivieren. Die rivieren hebben het landschap voorzien van indrukwekkende kloven en schitterende watervallen. Een prachtig gezicht, maar het bijzonderst zijn toch wel de natuurlijke bruggen in het gebied. Om op strategische punten de vele rivieren te kunnen oversteken, maken de mensen er gebruik van groeiende bomen en lianen. Die worden op een ingenieuze manier gevlochten en gecultiveerd, waardoor ze in de juiste richting blijven groeien. Bedekt met aarde en stenen, zijn sommige bruggen al vijfhonderd jaar oud en wel dertig meter lang. Verenigde Staten Ook Floortje is in 3 op reis bezig met een lange tocht. Ze is met een oceaanstomer de grote plas overgestoken en trekt inmiddels al enkele weken door de Verenigde Staten. Nu komt ze aan in het mijnwerkersstadje Butte in de staat Montana.
