One of three finalists on BET's ""Coming to the Stage"" will walk away with the title ""The Next Superstar of Funny"" in a finale set to air Wednesday January 5 at 9 p.m. ET. Atlanta's Lil Duvall (a.k.a. Roman Powell), Joe Recca of Baltimore and Cory Fernandez from New York will battle it out before a panel of celebrity judges featuring show regular Kim Coles, and guest judges Xzibit and Paul Mooney. It all began with 800 audition tape submissions, on-stage tryouts in eight cities across the country, and 30 hopefuls battling on stage for 12 episodes. Each week contestants were judged on creativity, delivery and individuality via a rotating panel of celebrity judges anchored by Coles. Host Bruce Bruce keeps things moving between acts.
