The story of Frankie and Johnny: Frankie walks into a bar, where she catches her boyfriend Johnny with the sensuous Nellie Bly and kills him in a fit of jealousy.

Forgotten by all, an elderly jazz singer lives through the fragments of her past. Inspired by the true story of Giuli Chokheli, the most famous female Georgian jazz singer of her time, sometimes referred to as the Georgian Ella Fitzgerald. In this movie, Giuli Chokheli plays herself at the age of 87.

A group of friends from the college decides to participate in a university music contest that guarantees a full scholarship, but several problems happen when they lose the vocalist of the band and need to go out in search of a new one.

This concert shows very rare and unique footage of Aretha in a very productive and creative part of her career.

Their intimate onstage chemistry and impeccable musicianship made the DBQ an award-winning jazz supergroup.

Chet Baker plows a uniquely individual furrow in the field of jazz. His trumpet playing is beautifully delicate and takes standard ballads into hitherto unexplored emotional territories. Here Chet is accompanied by Michel Grailler on piano and Riccardo del Fra on bass. Two of Chet's admirers also guest star here: Van Morrison and Elvis Costello.
