Fired from his band and hard up for cash, guitarist and vocalist Dewey Finn finagles his way into a job as a fifth-grade substitute teacher at a private school, where he secretly begins teaching his students the finer points of rock 'n' roll. The school's hard-nosed principal is rightly suspicious of Finn's activities. But Finn's roommate remains in the dark about what he's doing.

English teacher Paul Ashworth believes his long standing obsession with Arsenal serves him well. But then he meets Sarah. Various experiences of childhood are seen in several sequences that take place in the small town of Thiers, France. Vignettes include a boy's awakening interest in girls, couples double-dating at the movies, brothers giving their friend a haircut, a boy dealing with an abusive home life, a baby and a cat sitting by an open window, a child telling a dirty joke, and a boy who develops a crush on his friend's mother.

Successful writer/director Bernard Rougerie is at a creative dead end and decides to isolate himself from his wife in order to complete the script for his next film. Bernard moves into an apartment building whose tenants are in the midst of a revolt against their abusive landlord. Reluctant at first, he joins their cause and then becomes involved in an affair with young, unemployed resident Anne.

Samuel J. Comroe, a Los Angeles native and New York City transplant, is a stand-up comedian who performs at over 100 clubs and colleges annually. He made his TV debut on TBS' Conan and has appeared on BET's Real Husbands of Hollywood with Kevin Hart. He is the winner of Ricky Gervais' Comedy Competition, The San Francisco Comedy Competition, and has over 20,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel. His comedy is made up of the trials and tribulations of living with Tourette Syndrome since being diagnosed at age six and observational material based on his life experiences. His debut special, Normal Behavior, was filmed live in association with Cool Beans Comedy at The Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena, California.

Dominic and Miguel, the school's most notorious students, are challenged when the school participates in a quiz show to upgrade the image of the school. With the gorgeous Professor Eula Yulo as their mentor, the three are out to prove to everyone that they are more than just troublemakers.
