When the silent cinema learned to speak, the audience was surprised not only by the voices of the actors and the sound effects, but also by a new element, the music, which, combined with the dance and an unprejudiced imagination, gave rise to a new genre, as important to Hollywood cinema as the western was: the musical. A journey through the history of this genre, from its beginnings to the present day.

Recorded live at Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank, over May 22-24 of 1997, Fleetwood Mac performs their greatest hits – including the classics 'Rhiannon', 'Everywhere', 'Dreams', 'Don't Stop' and 'Landslide' – and several new songs.

A years-in-the-making documentary on the legendary punk band the Ramones. Through a mixture of archival footage, archival and new interviews with all members of the band's various lineups, and new interviews with a number of their contemporaries, the film traces the peaks and valleys the band experienced over the course of its 20-plus year career before disbanding in 1995.
