The escapades of rock 'n roller "Jeep Jackson" (Anthony Newley) after he is called up, but posted to the "Wrexham Foot" regiment by mistake. Lionel Jeffries ("Burton Bassett") is his commanding officer, and together with William Bendix ("Sgt. Lush") has to try and knock him into shape. I'm not sure why the otherwise talented Newley would ever have agreed to do this. It's a mess. Bendix and Jeffries are way off form in a comedy drama that staggers from one dud scenario to another. The songs - not helped by some seriously out-of-synch dubbing - are pretty mundane and the whole thing drags from the "on Monday, on Tuesday...". opening bars. It does teach you how to maintain a bearskin hat, but that's about all!
When ambitious reporter Allie Rusch is recruited by vindictive music manager Vivian Cartwright to play cupid to famous pop musicians Caleb Greene and Carson Peet in return for an exclusive story over Valentine's weekend, Allie soon realizes Caleb has his sights set on her. Now, torn between her big career move and her growing feelings for Caleb, Allie is left to question whether she can coerce Caleb into something his heart does not desire, or if she should fall in love and make him her very own Valentine.
From the director of “Made In America” and “The Money Pit” comes a hilarious look at one of the most expensive blunders in military history. Over 17 years and almost as many billion dollars have gone into devising the BFV (Bradley Fighting Vehicle). There's only one problem. . . it doesn't work.

The hit king Arno Hello, apparently a parody of Dieter Bohlen and Jürgen Drews, is determined to win the contest...

A hillbilly moonshiner enlists in the army. Monogram Pictures' comedy was inspired by the then-popular comic strip character.
When fluffy, bubble gum movie star Megan Valentine suddenly finds herself broke and humiliated in the public eye, she wanders from the wreckage of a car accident and witlessly enlists in the U.S. Army hoping in vain that it will change her life.
Filmmaker Talya Lavie steps into the spotlight with a dark comedy about everyday life for a unit of young female Israeli soldiers. The human resources office at a remote desert base serves as the setting for this cast of characters, who bide their time pushing paper, battling for the top score in Minesweeper, and counting down the minutes until they can return to civilian life. Amidst their boredom and clashing personalities, issues of commitment—from friendship to love and country—are handled with humor and sharp-edged wit.
