Last Summer

In the woods there lives a mouse and his friends, and they are always scared of getting eaten by the fox or other predators who can't get food in a fair way. They have to make some laws so they all can live togheter in peace.

An intimate look at the Woodstock Music & Art Festival held in Bethel, NY in 1969, from preparation through cleanup, with historic access to insiders, blistering concert footage, and portraits of the concertgoers; negative and positive aspects are shown, from drug use by performers to naked fans sliding in the mud, from the collapse of the fences by the unexpected hordes to the surreal arrival of National Guard helicopters with food and medical assistance for the impromptu city of 500,000.

During the same summer as Woodstock, over 300,000 people attended the Harlem Cultural Festival, celebrating African American music and culture, and promoting Black pride and unity. The footage from the festival sat in a basement, unseen for over 50 years, keeping this incredible event in America's history lost — until now.

ADAM IS A CLASSICAL MUSIC STUDENT WHO, AFTER LIVING HIS ENTIRE LIFE UNDER THE SHADOW OF HIS FATHER, IS ABOUT TO TAKE HIS FATHER'S TITLE OF THE YOUNGEST CONCERTIST IN HIS COUNTRY. BUT A SPONTANEOUS ILLNESS THREATENS TO LEAVE HIM WITHOUT HEARING AND TOGETHER WITH HIS BEST FRIEND, LUCHO, HE MUST DECIDE BETWEEN HIS HEALTH AND HIS GOAL OF BEATING HIS FATHER. The film will be made up of two stories: "Ishi Okoshi" and "Ayashiki Raihousha." In "Ishi Okoshi," Natsume meets a small youkai called Mitsumi in a forest. Mitsumi is entrusted to wake up the divine youkai "Iwatetsu" from its deep slumber. Mitsumi weighs on Natsume's mind, so he sets out to help Mitsumi with his task. In "Ayashiki Raihousha," a mysterious visitor appears in front of Tanuma. Nearly every day, the visitor visits Tanuma, talks to him a little, and then leaves. Natsume, who knows the visitor is a youkai, worries for Tanuma, but Tanuma enjoys these exchanges with the youkai. The youkai means no harm, but Tanuma's health slowly starts to deteriorate.

Maybe the 25th anniversary year didn't go *quite* as planned but we were still able to come together for a look back at the last 25 years.
