After inheriting a magical gold watch from his multimillionaire uncle's estate, Robert Hays and his girlfriend, Pam Dawber, soon discover not only that he can stop time with the watch, but also that it holds the secret to his late uncle's fortune - a secret that others fall over themselves trying to steal.

When a young couple in Vienna suddenly find themselves unemployed, they open a little restaurant near a local soccer place. Soon they have to find out about the odds and ends of self-employment as they have to learn that their newly won independence suffers from bureaucracy and greed.

After cantankerous and miserly Herbert Kalness insults his daughter's fiance and prospective in-laws at a dinner party, Mrs. Kalness devises a scheme to teach her husband a lesson in good manners.

The Peanuts Gang competes in a punt, pass and kick contest. The winner gets a new bicycle and a trip to the Super Bowl. Meanwhile, Snoopy coaches the Birds football team (made up of a bunch of Woodstock-like birds) to the AFL (Animal Football League) Super Bowl.

A down-on-her-luck young woman who falls into a job as a personal assistant to a star quarterback sidelined with an injury. He's never had a female assistant before and she knows nothing about football.

Muggs' rich Uncle Pete is coming to visit. Unfortunately, Muggs' late father had bragged that he had seven kids, so Muggs recruits the members of the gang to pose as his family. Things turn sour, however, when a local mobster finds out about Muggs' deception and threatens to expose it.

Geneva, Switzerland 1935. The first European Basketball Championship is about to take place. Basketball is still an unknown sport in Europe, and the national teams are meeting for the first time. Each wants the honour of being the first champion. Meanwhile in Latvia, coach Baumanis is convinced that he can assemble a team and take it to Geneva. He quickly learns however, that triumph and defeat are also part of the game. Coach Baumanis faces many difficulties, as well as unexpected help from those closest to him.

Tomoki Sakai is your average junior-high student. Fascinated by the diving skills of Yōichi Fujitani, an elite athlete born into a family of former Olympic divers, Tomoki joins the Mizuki Diving Club (MDC) where Yōichi trains. However, the club is in the red, and its very survival is under question. Beautiful Kayoko Asaki has just returned from the US and joins the club as a new coach, with the mission to save MDC. Her goal is for the club to produce an athlete capable of competing in the Olympics. She brings in Shibuki Okitsu, a skillful diver with a wild streak from Tsugaru. Meanwhile, Kayoko discovers that Tomoki possesses a unique ability called "diamond eyes" and inspires him to begin serious training. Tomoki, Yōichi, and Shibuki have to overcome personal problems and struggle through conflicts and setbacks in the sport to achieve their dreams.

Yawara helps a group of timid grade school kids overcome their fears and compete in a judo competition.

Dusty is a cropdusting plane who dreams of competing in a famous aerial race. The problem? He is hopelessly afraid of heights. With the support of his mentor Skipper and a host of new friends, Dusty sets off to make his dreams come true.

The Glenroy Brothers perform a portion of their vaudeville act, "The Comic View of Boxing: The Tramp & the Athlete", which depicts a boxer with a classic style trying to contend with an opponent who uses a very unorthodox approach.
