Xiaolong lives together with his grandfather and his cat in a little town in rural china. After graduating from elementary school, he plans to visit the city's middle school together with his two best friends Lele and Meimei. But Xiaolong's father wants him to move to Shanghai and visit a school there. Xiaolong doesn't want to leave so he runs away with his cat, and finds shelter on a deserted roof.

It's Christmas Eve and the playroom is alive with excitement for the new toys that will arrive the next day. Balthazar, the old and wise bear, explains to the other toys that they must welcome the newcomers even though each of them may be replaced as one of the children's new favorite toys.

A kitten who is being tormented by a bulldog finds a savior in a black cat (from the "Black Cat Bad Luck Company") who merely has to cross the dog's path for something very unlucky to happen to the bully.

Images of two women, two men, and a gray cat form a montage of rapid bits of movement. A woman is in a bedroom, another wears an apron: they work with their hands, occasionally looking up. A man enters a room, a woman smiles. He sits, another man sits and smokes. The cat stretches. There are close-ups of each. The light is dim; a filter accentuates red. A bare foot stands on a satin sheet. A woman disrobes. She pets the cat. Preserved by the Academy Film Archive in 2006.

Flatworld is an award-winning 1997 animated short directed by Daniel Greaves. The film was shot using a combination of cardboard cut-outs and traditional cell animation.

Young-Jae (Ryu Soo-Young) was involved in a car accident two years ago. He lost his memory from the accident. Now, Young-Hae runs a used bookstore and appears like an ordinary guy, but he has a certificate for passing the bar exam in his desk. While Young-Jae was in the hospital nobody visited him and he didn't have any numbers saved in his cellphone. He has been totally isolated. One day, a parcel is delivered to Young-Jae. In the parcel, there is Young-Jae's old wallet containing a photo of a smiling woman. The parcel does not have a sender listed. Soo-A (Nam Bo-Ra) is an 18-year-old who acts likes she knows everything. She expresses to Young-Jae that she likes him. With Soo-A's help, Young-Jae tries to find the woman in the picture.

A seemingly innocent voicemail message left on a man’s answer machine by his ex, soon turns on its head when we learn of his dark past in their relationship. We quickly learn that our protagonist may not be as innocent as he seems, through the heart-wrenching monologue delivered to him via the tiny machine in his home.

An aging hairdresser escapes his nursing home to embark on an odyssey across his small town to style a dead woman's hair for her funeral, rediscovering his sparkle along the way.
