A lady (Angela Baraldi) is sitting in a café reading her paper when an handsome man (Silvio Vannucci) walks in. She's taken by him, but continues reading. What she doesn't realise is that her discarded match has set fire to her newspaper, and luckily he was looking over for a fellow smoker looking for a light. Maybe not one of conflagration level though, so he goes and helps her put it out. They chat, they laugh, have a drink then go for a walk. Clearly he has a penchant for fire-raisers! It's edited to give the appearance of vignettes within their encounter, resetting from time to time as their relationship develops around the table and then outside and they are clearly getting on. Then they encounter another young man on the street, and... Fickle or what!
