The extrovert, yet slightly naive Fanny (18) has just relocated to a new high school and is struggling to navigate the social hierarchy where status and likeability seems to be measured only by cute outfits, going to the right parties, and having enough followers. 'Le cas Perrot' depicts a dreamlike world in a realist manner. It was shot with amateur teenagers in the style of a documentary in order to make fantastical contents seem naturalist. It was hence written and directed adhering to the logic that the brain adopts during sleep.
