Terrified by urban violence, a middle-class family in Rio de Janeiro mistakes a black office boy as a burglar when the he was sent to pick up a wedding dress for urgent adjustment.

A lonely boy finds his passion in football and pursues the sport to endure the difficulties of growing up.

French military man Adrien Dufourquet gets an eight-day furlough to visit his fiancée, Agnès. But when he arrives in Paris, he learns that her late father's partner, museum curator Professor Catalan, has just been kidnapped by a group of Amazon tribesmen who have also stolen a priceless statue from the museum. Adrien and Agnès pursue the kidnappers to Brazil, where they learn that the statue is the key to a hidden Amazon treasure.

In the middle of Praça da Sé, in São Paulo, Paloma - a dove like any other - swallows a chip and gains awareness. But what was supposed to be a blessing ends up revealing something terrible: she, like all doves, always ate scraps. The short documentary ‘Complexos‘ features intimate and emotional views on how residents of favelas in Rio de Janeiro use media and arts to raise their voices and act for justice, dignity and respect. ‘Complexos’ is part of a collaborative process between the Finland-based Anti-Racism Media activism Alliance (ARMA Alliance) and the favela-based audiovisual collective Cafuné na Laje.

Magdalena, Walcyr, Maria Alice and Natanael talk about the last weekend they spent with Dona Albertina, their grandmother, in 2010. This reunion is filled with an atmosphere created by the lady, which is mentioned at all times by each of them, sometimes as memories, sometimes as remorse.
