Rabbits Under the Shed

Silva Varescu, a self-sufficient and professionally successful cabaret performer from Budapest, is about to embark on a tour of America. Three of her aristocratic admirers, named Edwin, Feri and Boni, prefer her to stay. Edwin, unaware that his parents have already arranged a marriage for him back home in Vienna, orders a notary to prepare a promissory note of his expected marriage to Silva within ten weeks.

In old New South Wales a new bunch of convicts arrives including the little convict, young Toby Nelson. Rabbit and Deer are living happily and careless until their friendship is put to the test by Deer's new obsession to find the formula for the 3rd dimension. After an unexpected accident Deer finds himself in a new world, unknown to him. Separated by dimensions the two characters have to find the way back to each other.

The film follows three Vietnam war veterans in the post-war period, who happen to be well known Disney characters. This choice that combines with the aforementioned atmosphere creates a delectable piece of work.
