When lovebirds Nifemi and Swell elope after the former's parents disapprove of their relationship, Nifemi's parents lock her up in their mansion. Swell and his friends fake a robbery in order to rescue Nifemi, but things don't go exactly as planned.

In order to take care of these two dependents, he forsakes his loyal girlfriend for a rich female pharmacist (Andrea Ferriola) and moves in with her and her haughty bourgeois mother and aunts-with disastrous results for all involved.

He pawns his father’s ring to help Lai pay the tuition. Tung takes his father's ring and sells it. Tung's father alerts the police. The rings turn out to be a pair. The police think Tang stole the diamond ring, but Mui tells the truth. Tung is arrested and Tang and Lai have a happy ending.
