Lovesick

After a whirlwind romance in Mexico, a beautiful heiress marries a man she barely knows with hardly a second thought. Bill and Ted are high school buddies starting a band. Host Jerome X, a black activist, interviews the late great Sigmund Freud who is reincarnated in his doll form, complete with a cigar and a willingness to blame it all on Mom. The voice of reason is plastic.

Gunfighter Wild Bill is haunted by dreams in which he faces a soulless menace out for vengeance. As Bill is driven to share his nightly terrors with other cowboys in the firelight, their reactions prove to be enlightening and humorous.

Concerned about his friend's cocaine use, Dr. Watson tricks Sherlock Holmes into travelling to Vienna, where Holmes enters the care of Sigmund Freud. Freud attempts to solve the mysteries of Holmes' subconscious, while Holmes devotes himself to solving a mystery involving the kidnapping of Lola Deveraux.

The film consists mainly of interviews with readers of Freud in Brazil and several places in Europe, and touches on topics such as history, translation, culture, language and, especially, Freud himself.
