A young witch, on her mandatory year of independent life, finds fitting into a new community difficult while she supports herself by running an air courier service.

Young Homer and his best friend Freddie are fans of "The Super-Duper", a superhero in comics and movies. They learn that sometimes The Super-Duper needs help too. Based on a short story from the book, "Homer Price".

Harvey, the arrogant and spoiled son of an indulgent absentee-father, falls overboard from a transatlantic steamship and is rescued by a fishing vessel on the Grand Banks. Harvey fails to persuade them to take him ashore, nor convince the crew of his wealth. The captain offers him a low-paid job, until they return to port, as part of the crew that turns him into a mature, considerate young man.

With high school in the rearview, five teenagers from inland Oregon embark on one last adventure. Piling into a van with a busted tail light, their mission takes them to a place they’ve never been—the Pacific coast, five hundred miles away. Their plan, in full: “Fuck it.”
