My Time

Our Time is the story of two teenagers growing up in New York City. It was shot on location in Central Park.

Plagued with the guilt of feeling responsible for his late wife Amelia’s overdose, Alexander exiles himself into seclusion amongst the confines of a remote lake-house cabin.

Nigel is on his way to meet his partner’s daughter, Emily, for the first time and he hopes to make a big impression.

Two boys try out a home-made flying machine in their children's room at night. For another test, a rat that the boys keep as a pet is thrown out of the window with a small rocket. After this has also worked, the first boy stands on the windowsill ready to jump into the yard. At this moment, a man suddenly flies into the children's room from outside through the window, introducing himself as an inhabitant of Mars.

A world without light, a world dominated by darkness and threatening silence. The deep sea. Driven by their instincts, we pursue two contradictory characters and witness a struggle for life and death. We become victims of the illusion of light.

After World War II, Antonia and her daughter, Danielle, go back to their Dutch hometown, where Antonia's late mother has bestowed a small farm upon her. There, Antonia settles down and joins a tightly-knit but unusual community. Those around her include quirky friend Crooked Finger, would-be suitor Bas and, eventually for Antonia, a granddaughter and great-granddaughter who help create a strong family of empowered women.

When Malagasy soldiers came back from WWII, they expected De Gaulle to give them independence for fighting along with France against Nazis. Instead, they were asked to return to their indigenous status. They soon became the leaders of an uprising, harshly repressed by the French colonial authorities. The last witnesses tell us about their long months of resistance.

A newly wedded husband and wife try to repair their already struggling relationship, while battling an unknown evil that is hunting them down from within their home.
