In a richly decorated room, a scruffy troupe of a dozen acrobats and a little girl reawaken the old man's youthful nature and love.

The ending of the film will make even the most staunch admirers of thrillers shudder. The mood of the picture and the denouement are very reminiscent of the vivid works of modern cult Asian directors.
