Yvonne von Krutz, a Belgian, lives with her German husband Karl, whom she was forced to marry, and her spirited little brother Jacques in a farmhouse on the Belgian countryside. Learning that Karl has been killed, Jefferson pursues his budding romance with Yvonne.
