Young Dorothy finds herself in a magical world where she makes friends with a lion, a scarecrow and a tin man as they make their way along the yellow brick road to talk with the Wizard and ask for the things they miss most in their lives. At Christmas, the four Maillinger siblings want to spend quality time together in peace and quiet. That's why Miriam, who is now heavily pregnant, invited Anna, Vince and Tom, with their families, to her boyfriend's farm. This project threatens to fail because her unpredictable father Karl appears uninvited in the idyllic wasteland because he is on the run from tax investigators.
