Watching it again was mainly a nostalgic thing. I saw it when I was little on HBO in the middle of the night and, it's one of those horrible movies that, if you see it at the right age and in the right era, it becomes something of a classic in your memory. In this case it was about 9 or 10 in the late '80s, early '90s and after midnight, in the parents basement, on HBO. It's a horrible movie...but it's a horrible movie that has a lapdog kill and drag away a mailman. It has that great combination of humor and horribleness that appeals to kids at a certain age...well, at least appeals to little boys. Ad watching it again as an adult, it's even worse than I remember, but the humor holds fast and it still gets a few laughs.
