Demons and humans share a planet near Earth. The humans occupy the planet by day and the demons occupy it at night. They live in harmony until some of the demons scheme against the humans. The Guardians rid the planet of the troublesome demonic creatures to preserve the peace.

The film is full of pop-culture references and allusions, relentlessly peppered with corny puns that sometimes become an integral part of the plot and story. The film takes a similar approach to the mixing of genres; the crime film premise crosses into the realms of fantasy and horror in the course of a plot that is often self-contradictory.

Four friends, with a bittersweet history, get drunk and embark on a journey to Goa. On the trip, they lose an expensive ring which threatens to derail one of their engagement. They end up confronting one another and their own fears, as they enroll in a short film making competition in Goa to try and win the prize money for the ring.
