Sparked by the true story of Aya, a four-year-old Jordanian girl killed by her father because he believed her to be possessed, filmmaker Dalia Al Kury launches a fascinating investigation into a controversial and little-known aspect of Islamic culture: belief in djinn. The djinn are believed to be supernatural creatures that occupy a parallel world to ours and their emergence is associated with sexuality, political unrest, poverty and mental illness. The taboo subject of demonic possession remains broadly unresolved in the hearts and minds of some Muslims due to its complex and uncomfortable nature. Using a subjective, “undercover” style, Al Kury journeys into the obscure world of exorcists and the possessed, confronting their traditions and rituals. It makes for a telling ghost story that bares the filmmaker’s and her society’s subconscious underbelly.

"Sleep Paralysis" dives in to the little-known phenomenon of the same name. Affected people from different cultures tell of their frightening experiences, while scientists try to find explanations.

A collection of animations, bringing to life talking heads of people recounting nightmares. In the first, a girl escapes her school as it is invaded by monsters. In the second an account of sleep paralysis. In the third a boy finds a warehouse of demonic pigs under his bed.

Preparing for her wedding, Kübra gets possessed by unknown livings. To cure Kübra, a psychiatrist, Ebru, gets on way. Ebru is also an old friend of Kübra. Ebru would work together with an exorcist to save Kübra. Just when things seemed to be going well, everything start going horribly wrong.

During a failed art heist, the Djinn is once again liberated. This time, to complete the 1001 wishes that he needs before the final 3, he lets himself go to prison, where he starts his evil reign twisting the hopes of the prisoners. Meanwhile, the woman who set him free accidentally, Morgana, tries to find a way to stop him, aided by a young priest.

When Prince Ahmad is blinded and cast out of Bagdad by the nefarious Jaffar, he joins forces with the scrappy thief Abu to win back his royal place, as well as the heart of a beautiful princess.

Young college student, Catalina (played by Kara Saadet Schwarz), begins to experience extremely disturbing cases of sleep paralysis which may have rooted from an unsolved, brutal death in her family.
