Set in present-day Lucknow, Gulabo Sitabo is a social satire about two impossibly peculiar human beings, Mirza Chunnan Nawab, who stays in a dilapidated mansion and one of the tenants, Bankey Rastogi.

Five criminals, who run a gambling club, pool money for a drug deal set up by a corrupt police officer, but when their youngest teammate plans to steal the suitcase containing the money, murder enters the scene.

Parag Dixit is living a dream life with a great job and his loving girlfriend Mansi! However things take an ugly turn when after a series of unfortunate events he suddenly wakes up in jail; handcuffed and randomly beaten up by the cops.

Heer and Deedho were childhood sweethearts, separated because of family animosities, which have grown over the years and kept on the boil by Kaheda (Anupam Kher), whose leg was irreparably fractured by Deedho's family and friends.

This film begins with the invocation of 'almighty god' at a river where several people are gathered. The child god Krishna rises out of the water astride the demon snake Kaliya. Then we see Yashoda as she rocks the sleeping Krishna's crib and imagines the god as Gopala. The next scene shows Kamsa fantasizing about Krishna threateningly duplicated many times around him. Kamsa then imagines himself dead as his severed head rises up and descends again. People of all castes pay obeisance to the deity with the title-card: 'may this humble offering be accepted by the Lord'.

Chitrakut revolves around the lives of five people, their journey of change and metamorphosis as they search for love and companionship. When Debu met Alisha the beginning of a great love story blossomed in his head, unknown to him she was in a desperate attempt to get over her past love.
