A queer lady holiday movie that follows the lives of three very different couples in dealing with their love lives in various loosely interrelated tales all set right before Christmas through New Years.

December 24, 1983, 10:50 p.m.; Julie and her cousins ate too much sugar, and Santa Claus is late. Denis, alone in his car, is anxious about setting foot in his former in-laws’ house to pick up his children.

When a renegade Russian general sends a nuclear bomb hurtling toward the Middle East aboard a hijacked train, special agents are dispatched to disarm the deadly device. Ten tons of steel and one ounce of hot plutonium are now riding roughshod through Europe. With time running out, the agents launch a desperate, bullet-packed assault on a deadly moving target piloted by a cold-blooded mercenary.

Liam, a fireman, and Amy, a quilting teacher, team up to make a Christmas quilt for Liam’s sister’s wedding, but their burgeoning romance is threatened by Liam’s intention to travel to South America after the wedding. As they navigate their feelings for each other and their aspirations, they must decide what is truly important in time for the holiday season.

But with the presence of a handsome local—an outsider, but one that is friendly with the Amish community—he and Sarah sense chemistry and work together to save her family’s Amish bakery (developing an Amish Christmas Cookbook in the process).

The film's protagonists get an opportunity to make a wish. Consequently, their lives take the path they themselves ordained. Several "coincidences" bring them everything they wanted and they have the chance to experience their wishes. We are not only responsible in our lives for everything that we do, but also for everything we say, we think and desire.

When she arrives with her best friend and event-planning partner, Christina Jimenez, Alesha meets a handsome Brit, Garrett Graham, and despite her reluctance to get involved again, sparks begin to fly.
