The story of a young man who dreams to become a movie star.

Movie is narrated through three different tracks. The romance between two students forms the first track, story of a villain forms the second track and third track played by two friends. Confluence of these three tracks completes the plot.

Kannan (Dileep) is the son of a fashion weaver Ayyapanashan (Babu Namboothiri). His father has sent him for fashion designing,but Kannan wants to make more money easier. His friends are Yesudas a.k.a Yesu (Lal),a goonda and Vasu (Kalabhavan Shajon).

The village of Kanakkodu is free of politics and political parties. Pala Thankachen spread the seeds of politics in the calm atmosphere prevalent there. Consequently, the villagers divide themselves into different political groups.

Sughu falls in love with the daughter of a rich man. In order to marry his lover, he seeks illegal ways to make money, but life takes a turn when his plans become flop.

Tess McGill is an ambitious secretary with a unique approach for climbing the ladder to success. She creates a deal with a handsome investment banker that will either take her to the top, or finish her off for good.

An allegorical comedy centered on two childhood sweethearts who seem destined for one another until the women of their isolated village, angered by male indifference toward the water shortage, go on a sex strike that threatens the young couple's first night of love.
