Sakuragi and the Shohoko team takes on Oda and Takezono High School. This is Sakuragi's second match as he faces Oda, a basketball player who went to the same junior high.

Set during the Inter High Championships, Shohoku take on Tsukubu, one of this year's dark horses. It's a clash of acquaintances as Anzai will face his former student which is now the coach of Tsukubu, while Akagi & Kogure meet Godai their former classmate and Tsukubu's captain. Finally Sakuragi is irked by the presence of Nango, Tsukubu's center, who vies for Haruko's attention.

After losing the titanic match against Kainan High, Team Shohoku and a newly shaven Hanamichi Sakuragi are challenged to an exhibition match by virtual basketball unknowns Ryoukufu High. Coach Anzai sees this as an opportunity for Shohoku to regain their confidence, but Ryoukufu are revealed to have a newly assembled championship calibre lineup and may give Sakuragi & Co their toughest test yet.

Ichiro Mizusawa, a player from Rukawa's old junior high school, Tomigoaka, is diagnosed with a crippling leg condition and wants to play one last game with Rukawa. Hanamichi sets out to help the boy and fulfill his wish.

Jungle Pocket, a.k.a. Pokke, is a Umamusume girl who has been running free in freestyle races, aiming to be the strongest. On a whim, Pokke watches a race in the Twinkle Series. She is shocked by Fuji Kiseki's performance in the race, and decides to challenge for the Twinkle Series herself. Pokke enters "Toresen Academy," where Umamusume girls gather, and under the guidance of trainer Tanabe, who raised Fuji Kiseki, she takes on the "Classic Triple Crown Race," a race she is allowed to attempt only once in her lifetime. What awaited him there were rivals of the same generation who were even more talented than Pokke. Dedicated to her work, Dantsu Flame continues to work hard and honestly. Manhattan Cafe, running after a "friend" that only she can see. And Agnes Tachyon, a mad scientist who seeks beyond the possibilities of Umamusume. These Umamusume girls put their pride, their will, and their souls on the line. The hot and fierce battle opens the door to a new era.

Dragon Rojo Jr., Mr. Profesional, ¡Sorpresa!, Rayo X and TseTse Fly are five friends who, with their fabulous wrestling skills, try to defend in the ring a village being attacked by a group of monstrous rudos (bad guy wrestlers) under the leadership of Rey Extremo. By the creators of ¡Mucha Lucha!

Shouyou Hinata, after losing to Kitagawa Daiichi Junior High's setter Tobio Kageyama in his first official volleyball match, transfers to Karasuno High, intent on finally having a proper volleyball team and getting his revenge on Kageyama. Upon arrival at Karasuno, however, Hinata finds out Kageyama has also gone to Karasuno. Initially at odds with each other, the two form an oddball combination and fight together with the other members of the volleyball club. Karasuno reunites with a former rival school, Nekoma High, in a practice match and reignites their school rivalry.

Karasuno High enters the Inter-High Volleyball Tournament and immediately proves they're "flightless crows" no more. After their first match, Karasuno dukes it out against Date Tech High and their famous Iron Wall, which shut down every spike of Karasuno's ace, Asahi, during a previous match. Later, Karasuno fights Aoba Johsai High and seeks to have the same outcome as their first practice match.

One day, nineteen-year-old university student Yuji gets dumped by his girlfriend Keiko for no apparent reason. Sad and baffled by this sudden development, he opens a newspaper and sees an advertisement of an agency called Evening saying they hire hosts to work with female customers. Yuji calls them and soon begins working as a gigolo. In this new job he faces some unexpected trouble at first; however, his kind and honest attitude eventually wins the hearts of his clients.
