The suicide of a former high-school bully puts the boy's father on a quest for answers.

Four best friends, Yong-bi, Ji-gong, Sang-woo and Doo-man who just turned twenty and just came of age took the road to Pohang, a small city near the beach—since one of the friends, Sang-woo, is enlisting in the marine corps the day after. On the last day before Sang-woo goes off to the army, a life-changing incident dawns in front of them. The four best friends now face a situation beyond their control, and are forced through an irrevocable day.

At a high school in the city of Yokohoma the baseball team trains to go to the top. Carl-Henning (Jasper Klein) is a young man working as an apprentice on a dairy farm in the Danish marshland. He is caught by the foreman, who beats the young man. Carl-Henning defends himself and knocks the man down a flight of stairs. Convinced he has murdered the man, Carl runs away and joins up with a traveling carnival. Although the foreman has only a slight bump on the head and all is forgiven, Carl never receives word he is welcome to return and begins a series of adventures that take him far beyond the farm.

Eventually, Sayako meets an equally lost soul named Kenta. Kenta wanders through the neighborhood on a bicycle asking random people if they know him.

The film is set in the small town of Chunar, near Varanasi. Ittu Si Baat is a slice-of-life story of an up-and-coming cricketer who falls in love with his childhood friend. "A modern take on first love, it's a sweet small-town love story loaded with teenage innocence comprising a talented and versatile star cast. The movie will take the audience on the journey of Bittu, who learns about the aspirations of his childhood crush Sapna and the extent to which he goes to fulfill her dreams.
