The is quite a curious short drama that sees mother Ana Wagener reach the end of her tether with her daughter Natalia Mateo. She's had a drug problem for a while and with no money left, her mum decides to lock her in a room for some cold turkey. Now quite why she proposes to shut the girl in the kitchen - with all of their cooking appliances and a gas hob seems just a bit daft, reckless even, but perhaps it suggests how desperate times call for measures that aren't thought through! Four minutes isn't really long enough to do the subject or the characters any justice, and it's slightly stilted documentary-style of presentation doesn't really do it many favours either.
