In the middle of the 80s, in Madras. While her car, (one Volkswagen Beetle, typify like Walt Disney's "Herbie") breaks down (frequently), Mâlu (Jayashree), a beautiful young graduate, very independent, stemming from the Tamil bourgeoisie, attends, dumbfounded enough, not far from it, in the terrible correction that Raghunath (alias Raghu) (Mogan) to a pickpocket administers. The young man who went to an interview, misses his bus. Having got acquainted with Mâlu and having repaired his vehicle, this one leads him to its meeting. She informs him on the spot, that post, is already taken, what puts Raghu, beside himself. During his interview, he lets burst his anger, he becomes enraged in the face of his future employers, among which one, Rajasekhar (A. R. Murli does not reveal his past to Julie, however, Arukani ends up at his house in Bangalore.

Radha falls in love with Ravi, an aspiring singer, unaware of the fact that he is suffering from leukemia and his days are numbered.

Raja, a rich lad falls in love with Chembaruthi, a maid who works in his grandmother's house. His family rejects their love due to social differences.

Vishwa spends his time hanging out with Anandham to avoid his mother, who always quarrels with his dad. To find peace, he plays tricks on others. Among the victims is Jothi. The story moves to London, where Vishva visits Princess Diana's grave and leaves a beautiful poem behind. At the same time, Jothi too visits the grave and leaves a note after reading the poem. Then begins a warm relationship between Jothi and Vishwa without seeing each other. Whether the two are united form the rest of the story.

Chandru's friends make fun of him as he does not have a girlfriend. He points out at a girl claiming that she is his girlfriend, due to which a number of unfortunate events take place in her life.

Appu is a taxi driver in Mumbai (Bombay). He is still haunted by the suicide of his sister who was sold to a brothel. He is still trying to find out the culprit. Here he meets Sita who is chased by Eunuch Maharani who is also responsible for the death of his sister. Maharani is the madame or kingpin of the flesh trade in Mumbai. Maharani wants the beautiful Sita for the flesh trade. Appu fights and saves Sita from Maharani. Here his friend Vignesh and his lover Kaveri die saving Appu and Sita.

Jambhavan movie is about Velan (Prashanth) who is a responsible son of a village landlord (Vijayakumar). Adored by the villagers for his good deeds, Prashanth gets a shock when Vijayakumar informs that he is his foster son.A shocked Velan sets out on a mission to know about his past. He reaches Chennai and comes to know that his family members were killed by a dreaded gangster Deva (Vijayan). He had then vowed to kill him and his gang. In the name of Jambhavan, he starts to kill rowdies in the society.Suffering an injury in his head, Velan loses memory and is later adopted by Vijayakumar. He comes to know that his job was just half-done. The rest is how he puts an end to Fefsi Vijayan and his men coming to Chennai.

Puzhayozhukum Vazhi is a 1985 Indian Malayalam film, directed by M. Krishnan Nair and produced by Joly Paulson. The film stars Mammootty, Jagathy Sreekumar, Venu Nagavally and Prameela in lead roles. The film had a musical score by Raveendran.

A helpless lady, while trying to defend herself from being molested, commits a crime and loses her home and family. Later, she meets Balan, a wise man, who decides to help her.
