Scent of Rain: A Love Story Really! A delightfully funny and entertaining evening of theater, Scent of Rain is a comic fantasy set in rural America during simpler times in the family we all wish we could have had. This hilarious, compelling and ultimately touching story begins with the dying father of an all-male family who wants to know his sons are happily married before he passes on. The two older straight boys are engaged to twin sisters, but their younger brother is "special" and his father is concerned that he'll go through life alone, unless they can find him a husband. With assistance and support from hired hand Bill Tom, played by Ryan Idol, their comical attempts produce the gay version of "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers." Only this time, it's just "one husband for one brother."

A young Shu Nian is a lonely kid who is living in an orphanage, where he hopes to find a good family that loves him. This is when Xie Yan, the son of a real estate magnate, adopts him. He worked as a page boy for him until Xie Yan went abroad to study. Six years later, Xie Yan returns home when he is 25 years old and is reunited with Shu Nian. Shu's secret crush on Xie Yan is revealed and Chaos occurs. Xie not being able to handle the situation due to his tendency of homophobia, sents Shu away from his sight. Soon after, Xie Yan realizes that Shu Nian is the only one who can help stabilize his temperament and gradually realizes his true feelings for Shu. However, many obstacles will appear between them.

Set in China in the 1930s, the film is about the unsettling relationship between three characters, each involved with a performance of the opera Fleeing by Night in a local theatre.

Not wanting to face the death of his father, Lin Qing Yu, alone in Li Jiang, unexpectedly lost wallet and was hired to be a school teacher for the Naxi people. Feelings develop between him and A Ren, a local who supports Lin Qing Yu. When the two open their hearts, they exchange keepsakes. The film portraits a complicated journey thru life, love and hate of a homosexual in Russia. Before an important audition, the opera teacher recommends sleep, walks and Schubert. Feeling lost, desperate and rebellious, Erik does the exact opposite (except for the Schubert bit), spending his nights with a disillusioned older colleague and excessive amounts of vodka. Erik has a boyfriend but a chance encounter with the semi-criminal Lyokha awakens passion of a whole new caliber in him.

Leonardo is a blind teenager dealing with an overprotective mother while trying to live a more independent life. To the disappointment of his best friend, Giovana, he plans to go on an exchange program abroad. When Gabriel, a new student in town, arrives at their classroom, new feelings blossom in Leonardo making him question his plans.

In Mexico, two teenage boys and an attractive older woman embark on a road trip and learn a thing or two about life, friendship, sex, and each other.
