The Hold Steady: A Positive Rage

Crash 'n' Burn is an experimental film shot in and named after Toronto, Ontario's first punk rock club. (Not to be confused with Peter Vronsky's similarly titled 1977 documentary on the Toronto punk scene made for the CBC television network.) The film, shot on 16mm black-and-white stock, features performances by Dead Boys, Teenage Head, The Boyfriends, and The Diodes".

Famed music video director Hamish Hamilton (Madonna, U2) captures in this spectacular 14 camera shoot the energy of Grammy-winning rock group Evanescence in a live performance from the band's concert at the Zenith in Paris, France, on May 25th, 2004. The set list includes: "Haunted", "Going Under", "Taking Over Me", "Everybody's Fool", "Thoughtless", "My Last Breath", "Farther Away", "Breathe no More", "My Immortal", "Bring Me to Life", "Tourniquet", "Imaginary", and "Whisper". Also contains music videos "My Immortal", "Everybody's Fool", "Bring Me to Life" and "Going Under" as well as behind the scenes documentaries "Life On the Road", "Showtime", "Bloopers", "Evanescence Unleashed" and End credits: "Missing" as well as "Bring Me to Life" (Live in Las Vegas, included as an easter egg).

On September 1, 2001, Irish rock band U2 made a triumphant return to their roots with two outdoor shows at Slane Castle, Ireland. U2 chose the castle venue because it marked two watershed moments for the band: their recording session for the landmark album THE UNFORGETTABLE FIRE in 1984, and their first Slane appearance opening up for fellow Irish rock band Thin Lizzy in 1981. U2 GO HOME captures the emotional intensity of the homecoming with 19 live tracks culled from the concerts.

Flight 666 documents the first leg of Maiden's legendary Somewhere Back In Time World Tour which took them 50,000 miles round the planet playing 23 concerts on five continents in just 45 days. One of the stars of the movie is the band's customised Boeing 757, Ed Force One, which carried the band, all their crew, 12 tons of stage equipment and was piloted by airline captain and singer Bruce Dickinson. The movie gives a close up behind the scenes look at what happened on and off stage, when Maiden gave full access to a film crew for the first time ever, and contains some of the most spectacular live footage yet seen of Maiden. If you want to know what it is like to be part of the most adventurous tour in rock history, you can't miss seeing this.

Recorded at London's Brixton Academy in 2004, Dido Live draws on material from 1999 debut No Angel and 2003 follow-up Life for Rent. As she notes early in the show, "It's very nice to be in a place where I've seen hundreds and thousands of gigs." Dido and five-piece band-including two percussionists-proceed to execute a tight 14-song set, touching on favorites like "Thank You".
