Akkaldhamayile Pennu is a Malayalam movie directed by Jairam Kailas released on 20 November 2015. The film is based on a story of a woman gravedigger. The film was produced by Kasim Arikkulam and Ashik Doha under the banner of Pearl Media and Movie Productions. Swetha Menon, Malavika Nair, Vineeth, and Sudheer Karamana had the leading roles.

Sairam, an assistant manager in a supermarket treads on an unethical path for a promotion, leading to dire consequences. Gayatri a thrifty housewife manages her middle class household. Fragrance and quality of his incense sticks aside, its mosquito repellant capabilities too have pleased those who tried the samples. However, Joy suddenly has a new set of people and problems as 'Punyalan Agarbattis' comes to a halt.

Inspired by the Puranic story of Abhimanyu and his mother Subhadra, the film portrays the relationship of the protagonist with her baby, before and after it is born.

Maradonna messes up his life by getting into company of friends and starting an internet café that fails and to recoup his losses and attracted by ‘easy money’ he gets into drugs. Soon he is conned and loses everything after pledging his house to a ‘blade’ moneylender (Salim Kumar).

Karthikeyan, a liquor baron, sets out to take back his ancestral house which was usurped by Shekharan. To seek revenge, Karthikeyan abducts Shekharan's daughter and ends up falling in love with her.
