Yeong-hoon realizes that he is strangely drawn to Mi-ran, a married woman, who is one of his colleagues at work and adored by many men. Yeong-hoon keeps flirting with her constantly and he finally ends up having a passionate sex with Mi-ran. He becomes deeply drowned into her allure. One day, Yeong-hoon receives a shocking video message when he visits Mi-ran’s house. The video informs him that Mi-ran’s couple has been using Yeong-hoon as their sex partner. Mi-ran’s husband, Jeong-wook invites him to join their games. Yeong-hoon cannot decide between his loving emotion for Mi-ran and his desire. Yeong-hoon after all tells the husband to let her go, because he is in love with Mi-ran. Jeong-wook accepts his request under one condition, which is that Yeong-hoon should have sex with Mi-ran in front of Jeong-wook. Yeong-hoon accepts the suggestion and starts having sex with Mi-ran in front of Jeong-wook, but he stops in the middle.

An important example of amateur filmmaking during this era, That Ice Ticket was made by Angela Murray Gibson who ran Gibson Studios in the small community of Casselton, North Dakota. Gibson cast community members in her productions, taking on multiple roles herself, writing, directing and acting in the films, operating the camera during filming, then processing the footage and editing the finished picture together. Temporary Marriage is a 1923 American silent drama film directed by Lambert Hillyer and starring Kenneth Harlan, Mildred Davis, and Myrtle Stedman.

Doctor Lambert takes his wife west to a mining town, where he can both minister and doctor. His wife is not happy and upon discovering she is pregnant, runs away with a gambler. He soon dumps her, and she comes back and dies giving birth to a baby girl. Lambert, out of his mind with rage, leaves the baby on a doorstep and vows to never have faith again. He returns to the mining town fifteen years later a drunkard. He meets young, kind Lily Sawyer and is greatly impressed by her compassionate nature. Meanwhile, the gambler has returned and decides to abduct Lily, but his partner recognizes Lambert and tells him Lily is his daughter. He kills the gambler before he can harm Lily and soon his faith returns.
