The show will be headlined by a tag team match, with Kazuchika Okada & Hiroshi Tanahashi facing Jay White & Bad Luck Fale. As was announced at Dominion, new IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay will defend his title against Robbie Eagles in Melbourne. Ospreay, who won this year's Best of the Super Juniors tournament, defeated Dragon Lee to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight title at Dominion. Ospreay then went to the English commentary table and said that he wanted his first defence to be against Eagles. IWGP Tag Team Champions Guerrillas of Destiny will face Juice Robinson & Mikey Nicholls in a non-title match in Melbourne, and Rocky Romero is taking on El Phantasmo in a Best of the Super Juniors rematch

In 1983 World Class Championship Wrestling and its franchise stars, the Von Erich brothers, were known around the world. A small Dallas based promotion running out of a shack of a venue, the Sportatorium, World Class was one of the most syndicated television programs in America, making the Von Erichs household names. Run by legendary wrestler Fritz Von Erich, a.k.a. Jack Adkinsson, World Class made his oldest sons, Kevin, David and Kerry, three of hte biggest stars in the world of wrestling. Little did anyone know that just as the Von Erichs and World Class were reaching worldwide stardom they would begin a downfall that would cast a full eclipse on their meteoric rise to fame. Directed by Brian Harrison who, as a ten year old in 1983, watched on television as wrestling's world of staged combat between good and evil took a sharp turn into a surreal and tragic reality.

WSU Spirit Champion Niya comes to the ring and talks herself up for a bit. Nevaeh's music hits and she comes out and the pair exchange words. After taking the summer off, WSU returned to present the Queen and King of the Ring 2017 Tournament from the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ. This was WSU's final event in the venue. Satomura scored a direct win over the Sendai Girls World Champion, and tried to issue a challenge to the champion before Hamada stopped her. Hamada suggested a match between herself and Satomura to determine the next challenger. Aja Kong said she wanted to challenge whoever comes out on top in the next World Championship match.
