Vinicio Capossela: Nel niente sotto il sole

On 18th of December 2017, the Filarmonica Teatro Regio Torino, directed by Timothy Brock, presented "The Gold Rush" by Charles Chaplin, with live performance of the soundtrack. But let's go back a few days: this short film takes us in the backstage of the concert!

Known for his mournful "Adagio for Strings," Samuel Barber was never quite fashionable. This acclaimed film is a probing exploration of his music and melancholia. Performance, oral history, musicology, and biography combine to explore the life and music of one of America’s greatest composers. Features Thomas Hampson, Leonard Slatkin, Marin Alsop and many more of the world's leading experts on Barber's music, with tributes from composers Leonard Bernstein, Aaron Copland, Virgil Thomson and William Schuman. The film was broadcast on PBS, and screened at nine film festivals internationally, with three best-of awards. It was named a Recording of the Year 2017 by MusicWeb International.

Arthur Rubinstein performs Grieg's Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 16, Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor, Op. 21, and Saint-Saens Piano Concerto No. 2 in G minor, Op. 22 with Andre Previn at the London Symphony at Fairfield Hall, Croydon, England.

Recorded in July 2001, this meeting of musical minds saw virtuoso guitarist Yngwie Malmsteem team up with The New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra for an incredible concert experience. Adding layers of pure rock power over the symphonic delights created by the Orchestra, Malmsteem proves his musical skills and wows the crowd in the process. Tracks include "Icarus Dream Fanfare," "Prelude To April," "Sarabande," and many others.

Classics on a Summer's Evening is an outdoor concert for an enormous audience which was staged in an architecturally striking public square in Dresden in July 1999. It features the most glamorous young husband and wife currently active on the international operatic scene, soprano Angela Gheorghiu and tenor Roberto Alagna. Along with these fine performances comes Giuseppe Sinopoli-before his untimely death at age 54-who was considered one of Europe's finest opera conductors, and, in the Dresden orchestra and chorus, performers who match his creative energy.

On May 5th, 2019, Alan Parson played a concert at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht, The Netherlands and the concerts was recorded. Alan Parsons wasn’t too much on tour in the past and there are certainly bands and artists with a tighter tour schedule. Therefor it was a good thing to record the Utrecht concert, which will now be made available for Alan Parsons fans through ‘The NeverEnding Show: Live in the Netherlands.
