David and Goliath

Akkaldhamayile Pennu is a Malayalam movie directed by Jairam Kailas released on 20 November 2015. The film is based on a story of a woman gravedigger. The film was produced by Kasim Arikkulam and Ashik Doha under the banner of Pearl Media and Movie Productions. Swetha Menon, Malavika Nair, Vineeth, and Sudheer Karamana had the leading roles.

After living 23 years in France, psychiatrist Dr. Roy is called back to his village by Fr Francis, the man who raised him during his childhood. He has no idea why he was asked back, but when he returns he meets his childhood friend Dr Meera Menon who has become a pediatrician, but meeting her again brings him memories of their being in love years earlier.

Sairam, an assistant manager in a supermarket treads on an unethical path for a promotion, leading to dire consequences. Gayatri a thrifty housewife manages her middle class household. Mahitha's friend, a street child goes missing and she goes out of her way to find him. Abhiram, the bright student falls in love with Aira and pursues her. Four stories seemingly unrelated are all bound by one string called family.

Fragrance and quality of his incense sticks aside, its mosquito repellant capabilities too have pleased those who tried the samples. However, Joy suddenly has a new set of people and problems as 'Punyalan Agarbattis' comes to a halt.

Inspired by the Puranic story of Abhimanyu and his mother Subhadra, the film portrays the relationship of the protagonist with her baby, before and after it is born.

Irfan, a young Muslim boy, falls in love with a Hindu girl, Anita who is much older than him. However, when their families oppose their relationship, the duo seeks help from the police.

'White' revolves around a banker who is in his 40's and is a widower. He leads a luxurious lifestyle, and in the course, he falls in love with an IT professional in her 20s.
