Welcome Home is being touted as a psychological drama with lots of thrills. The movie follows a pregnant woman living in a house. She is visited by a few other ladies presumably some officials and ask her about her lifestyle.

It's a story of one night where estranged lovers Kartik and Vasuki end up meeting each other after 12 years under strange circumstances. Kartik is on a run for being a murder suspect. However, there is more than what meets the eye.

When Karan gets to know Jogi has escaped he goes looking for him. Dara also join hands with Karan to even the score with the dreaded dacoit.

On the day of the marriage, a beautiful young woman, Prema, along with a young child in her arms, stops the marriage, claiming that Rajesh is already married to her and is the father of her child. Based on Vinod Chopra's diploma film at FTII, Murder at Monkey Hill (1976), adapted into a full-length feature with Naseeruddin Shah and Radha Saluja, respectively, playing the roles that he, himself, and Anjali Paigankar had played in the short film.
