Pascual Iranzo is a famous and eccentric hairdresser from Barcelona with a unique idea of what it means to cut hair —and stylism— and an even more particular way of understanding the world. At 87 years of age, he maintains his supreme artistic skills and his incredible vitality. Between scissors, friends and cocktails, he is a man who never stops transforming and reinventing himself.

Metamorphosis is a story of an irreversible change seen through the eyes of one of Catalunias many invisible citizens: Laia. From her individual experiences, we will follow the process of Barcelona In Common from the public presentation as Guanyem Barcelona in June 2014, to the victory in the municipal elections of May 2015 that lead Ada Colau to be the first female mayor of Barcelona. This documentary wants to portray the will of this group of citizens to articulate a space of confluence of social movements, neighborhood and political actors, aiming to the conquest of municipal power.

Eight people from very different backgrounds cross paths in Barcelona, Spain. Lawyers, musicians, translators, security guards, call center agents. They are all immigrants. The Pro-Beatification Association of Antoni Gaudí has been working more than 25 years to manage to beatify the architect of Reus, picking up all witnesses and proofs that demonstrate that Gaudi lived like a beatus and, the most difficult part, wiaiting for a miracle to happen attributed do Gaudí himself, an essential condition for his beatification. The documentary will follow this case, showing Gaudi’s life and work from a new outlook, more intimate and linked to spirituality and beliefs of the architect.
