In the early dawn, a man fishing by the riverside pursues a mysterious tracking sound to a charging station. Rigging fishing rods, he patiently awaits his target. As night falls, the hanging batteries sway, signaling the commencement of a covert operation. With a net in hand, the man stealthily moves into action, unfolding a tale of intrigue and suspense.

A man confronts his past during an experiment that attempts to find a solution to the problems of a post-apocalyptic world caused by a world war.

After hearing about a Brazilian folklore party at the neighborhood school, Fernando, an 8-year-old child, decides to go dressed as Curupira, with a skirt and everything, and suggests it to his grandfather, Mr. Lino, 70 years old. The dynamics between grandfather and grandson begin to be affected as Lino perceives Fernando to be a different child. Through subtleties in the dialogues and the silence, social conventions and the responsibility of being the guardian-protector of something precious, the film evokes conceptions of the masculine within a queer childhood.

In a dystopian future where the world has devolved into a pre-industrial state, the Purists rule supreme. The Purists blame technology for all the world’s past ills, and have deemed it to be inherently sinful. A handful of Companions, human-like artificial intelligence, have managed to make it through the apocalypse. They survive the only way they can –by hiding in plain sight.

While dealing with the loss of a loved one, a young man named Tyler is suddenly tasked with helping an alien, who has psychic powers, find his spaceship. Their journey is met with surprising moments of wholesome bonding, but also with sudden moments of brutality. As Tyler realizes what he must do to move forward, his discovery points to the fact that everything may not be what it seems.
