Four men and four women gathered at the after-party of a class reunion were talking about Reiko, who had not been in touch with anyone since graduation. Sano, who is single, said that when he went to Kumamoto on a business trip, a prostitute he played with looked exactly like Reiko. While Sano was half-convinced, he suddenly received a call from Reiko saying that she would join the after-party....

A young female business consultant is sent to acquire a small craft brewery, but upon meeting the kind-hearted owner, she falls in love with not only him, but the close-knit community of the small business. Together, they must block the deal and save their beloved brewery.

An intriguing peddler comes to Hope Valley selling the townspeople his wares and teaching them valuable lessons about joy and giving. When the townspeople realize that the recently displaced settlers in the area will not have a proper Christmas, they come together to create a special holiday celebration — including a Nativity presentation from the schoolchildren — that will infuse everyone with the true spirit of Christmas.

Complications arise when her ex returns home after touring Europe with his new album. Meanwhile, Victoria has fallen in love with her next-door neighbor, Gavin, a Texas musician who has bonded with her daughter Charlie while helping Victoria fix up her home, as well as her heart.

Owners of a candy store enter a Christmas treasure hunt, but the wife's ex creates complications. Overcoming challenges, they revive their business, win the contest, and renew their marriage.

The story has an old donkey resolving to break away from the unbearable hardships of working for a fat miller (Alfred Pongratz). By and by, he recruits three more unsatisfied animals and convinces them to accompany him on his way to Bremen where they want to become musicians. Fighting off some robbers in a forest house then becomes an important part of the story.
