A tiny white mouse falls prey to a menacing black lion but just as it's about to be eaten, it begs for mercy. It promises to bring the cat something even more tasty. OK, thinks the cat but just in case, it ties a bit of string to the mouse's tale so it doesn't run away. The cat doesn't much care for berries, or frogs, indeed he's quite a picky eater and eventually our mouse just loses his temper and turns the tables. I liked the animation style here with black and white set against a dark red background delivering an engaging simplicity to a story that's also jauntily scored. I did rather enjoy the conclusion, too!
