Skate Girl

A student documentary that dives into the passion, struggles, and raw intensity of skateboarding. Featuring interviews filmed in San Francisco, Santa Cruz, and Los Angeles, this project is produced by Ohlone College students.

What started as the DC Downhill Club (DCDC) has grown into DC Drain and Clean - a group of skateboarders from the Washington, DC area who have made it their mission to seek out backyard pools to drain and skate - making unique friendships along the way.

“Grindland – Red, Monk and the Birth of DIY” is the story of Mark Scott and Mark Hubbard, two visionary skaters from the Pacific Northwest who, along with dedicated friends, kickstarted the modern DIY/concrete skatepark revolution. From the early days of Burnside to 2019’s Rip Ride Rally, this film explores the friendship, struggle, triumph and tragedy of true iconoclasts, hellbent on building the skateparks of their dreams. 'OG' is a film about a legendary, Brazilian born, NYC skateboarder, Harry Jumonji. In the course of telling his story, through his triumphs and travails, Jumonji emerges in this portrait as an adolescent innocent, much like skateboarding itself. He is irrepressible, manically energetic and ultimately, pure. He has a transcendent presence, well beyond charm or charisma, of such unalloyed joy that nothing he does is unforgiveable. This is fortunate because, as a drug addict, unsurprisingly, he lies, cheats and steals. Harry is rendered as the poet, the sprite, the artist and the street saint he is.

Jobs? Never!! is an intimate glimpse into the soul of the 40-year-old legendary skater and iconoclast Jim Greco. Shot on Super 16mm & 35mm, this short-film follows Greco as he navigates through his days: living, skating, falling and dreaming in Los Angeles.
