Profile

Vinícius Mendes

Vinícius Costa Mendes (born June 30, 2006, in Indaiatuba, Brazil) is an aspiring Brazilian filmmaker currently studying "Film and Audiovisual" at Belas Artes in São Paulo. Passionate about creating immersive atmospheres, he dedicates himself intensely to cinematography and the use of music to shape the identity of his films. He directed the short films Atemporal and Penumbra and also took part in breathe, again, by Caio Omena. Since the age of 12, he has been self-studying cinema online and developing independent short films, always seeking to explore visual symbolism intuitively. His perfectionism is reflected in every detail of framing and editing, where meanings often emerge organically throughout the process, perfectly aligning with the story he aims to tell. Born : 30th-Jun-2006
