Erik Gunnar "Gurra" Krantz was born on April 20, 1955, is a Swedish sailor with many years of experience in world-class racing. Krantz has, among other things, participated in the Whitbread Round The World Race / Volvo Ocean Race as head of the boats The Card (1989) and Intrum Justitia (1993) and as skipper of Swedish Match (1997) and Team SEB (2001). Krantz has also participated in Sweden's America's Cup efforts in 1987 and 1991/92 as a skipper. Born : 20th-Apr-1955
