Sachiyo Nakao

Born in Tokyo. She starred in the drama Dream Island Girl (written and directed by Shoichiro Sasaki), which aired on NHK in 1974. In the drama Four Seasons ~ Utopiano (written and directed by Shoichiro Sasaki), she painstakingly portrayed the image of a young woman who moved from a snowy country to the city to become a piano tuner. The film, with its beautiful music and visuals, was highly acclaimed both domestically and internationally, and won numerous international awards. Her major awards include the 32nd Italian RAI Award and the International Emmy Award for Best Picture. She has also appeared in NHK specials directed by Sasaki. Born : Unknown
