Alun Lewis is a British actor, best known for his roles in ITV's Emmerdale as postmaster Vic Windsor, and Darryl Stubbs in BBC1 sitcom Birds of a Feather from 1989 to 1994. His brother was the late actor Hywel Bennett. He was married to actress Annette Ekblom, and together they had a daughter, the actress Amelia Warner. His son-in-law is Jamie Dornan. Lewis is also an accomplished rock 'n' roll and blues guitarist. Together with Emmerdale co-stars Steve Halliwell and Billy Hartman, he was a member of UK 1990s country rock trio The Woolpackers who had a UK hit single "Hillbilly Rock Hillbilly Roll" in November 1996. Birds of a Feather

Darryl Stubbs - Birds of a Feather is a British sitcom that was broadcast on BBC One from 1989 until 1998 and on ITV from 2013. Starring Pauline Quirke, Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph, it was created by Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran, who also wrote some of the episodes along with many other writers. The first episode sees sisters Tracey Stubbs and Sharon Theodopolopodos brought together when their husbands are sent to prison for armed robbery. Sharon, who lived in an Edmonton council flat, moves into Tracey's expensive house in Chigwell, Essex. Their next-door neighbour, and later friend, Dorien Green is a middle-aged married woman who is constantly having affairs with younger men. In the later series the location is changed to Hainault. The series ended on Christmas Eve 1998 after a 9-year-run.

The mandate of CI5 was to fight terrorism and similar high-profile crimes. Cowley, a hard ex-MI5 operative, hand-picked each of his men. Bodie is a cynical ex-SAS paratrooper and mercenary whose nature ran to controlled violence, while his partner, Doyle, comes to CI5 from the regular police force, and is more of an open minded liberal. Their relationship is often contentious, but they are the top men in their field, and the ones to whom Cowley always assigned to the toughest cases.
