Miguel Cascales Maestre is a Spanish-born Australian chef, restaurateur, author and television presenter, best known for co-hosting the lifestyle television series The Living Room. Maestre is also best known for presenting TV programmes such as Miguel's Feast, Miguel's Tropical Kitchen and Boys Weekend. In October 2013, Maestre became an Australian citizen Born : 5th-Nov-1979

It is based on the original Ready Steady Cook series broadcast by the BBC. The format is owned by Endemol. The show debuted in 2005, where it was hosted by former chef Nick Stratford.
